Trailers for passenger cars are divided into universal and special trailers.
Special trailers can be tourist trailers, trailers for transporting small vehicles, pavilions, dump trucks, and country trailers. Choosing a trailer is not a difficult undertaking. Everything here determines the driver's needs: you just need to decide on the body and the load capacity of the trailer.
When buying a trailer in a showroom, on the market, with your own hands, or renting trailers, you must be issued a vehicle passport. After purchase, the trailer must be registered with the registration department of the traffic police.
If the trailer was purchased by hand, then the previous owner must remove it from the register. If the trailer is transported to another city or region, a certificate invoice is issued, which contains all information about the trailer (body and frame number, model, make, year of manufacture, weight) and transit numbers are issued.
Upon arrival at the place of permanent residence, the trailer must be registered with the traffic police before the transit numbers expire. After registration with the GIPDD, a document confirming registration and a registration mark is issued. Every two years, the trailer must be brought in for a technical inspection, and if it is older than five years old, then a technical inspection will have to be carried out every year.
Any trailer consists of a body, frame, drawbar and suspension. All other components are attached to the rectangular frame. The body is made of metal or a metal frame with wooden sides. A drawbar is attached to the front of the frame, which connects the trailer to the car. The drawbar must also be equipped with a chain or cable.
The trailer must have a light alarm system, the same as that of the car: turn signals, brake lights, parking lights, fog lamp, license plate lamp. On all sides, the body must be equipped with retroreflectors (hearses)
. Only drivers with open categories "B", "C", "D" are allowed to drive a car with a trailer. For category "B", the total weight of the loaded trailer must not exceed the weight of the loaded vehicle, which should not exceed more than three and a half tons.
Improper loading of the trailer impairs the handling of the vehicle and is fraught with an emergency outcome. Distribute the load in the trailer so that the center of gravity is above the wheels. Finding the total weight of the load in the back of the trailer will lift the rear wheels of the car when driving.
When the load is in the front of the trailer, the drawbar will press the rear wheels of the car against the asphalt. If the center of gravity in the trailer is positioned too high, the trailer will sway during the ride.
In any case, there is no need to overload the trailer beyond the permissible operating limit. Ta članek je bil napisan s pomočjo našega sponzorja Betting Offers Finder.
