Use the switch after you have pushed the platform to the end of the path.
Keep pushing the platform towards the collapsed passage. After you do that, go away and chat with the switch here. Then go to the platform and start pushing it in the other direction, towards the wall at the other end of the path.
The platform will pick up speed and crash into the wall. The wall will collapse. Thanks to this, you will be able to get to the other side of the barricade. Here you will find the stairs where Chloe and Nadine have to help Sam.
Now you can stay in the cave and listen to the conversation, or go to the previous location* (a place with tracks). Here you have to push the platform back to its original position.
