Where to find prints.

One of the signs of the presence of a ghost in phasmophobia is his palm or fingerprints. We'll find them in different places, provided we equip the right item.

If you want to search for prints, you need to choose a UV flashlight. This is a smaller flashlight than the usual one, all black. You will always find it to the right of the usual flashlight on the cabinet in the truck.

Tracks usually appear after more than 6 minutes of playing on medium and easy difficulty levels. Most often they can be found:

at the door handles
at the light switches
on the window panes

It is always worth trying to talk to the ghost several times by asking him any questions. This can provoke the phantom to touch any element of the environment. When you see at least one print, you can log it as proof.

Where to put the laptop.

For one of the clues about the ghost, we can try to get his records. To do this, use a notepad, one of the main items in the game.

Take a notebook from the shelf in the truck and find the room where the ghost is, or the room where his presence is most likely - for example, check the temperature in advance.

You can put the notebook on the table, cabinet or on the floor by simply holding it and pressing the F key. The placed notepad will be empty.

After exiting the laptop, it is better to turn off the light and leave the room. If after a few tens of seconds there are no notes in the notebook, it means that you either chose the wrong room, or (if you have already determined that this particular room is inhabited), this particular type of ghost will not use the laptop.

The notebook can display both ordinary words and large characters. When you see something on the pages of the notebook, open the J-key log and make sure that you have found a clue in the form of notes in the notebook.

As you can see, the same pairs of evidence are often found in multiple ghost cases, so the risk is not justified, and it's always better to make sure you have three proofs. Then there is always only one answer. Do not try to fight them, use only a dive bomb during planning (left Ctrl, console: R2/RT) to pass them and fall.
